COVID-19 UPDATE

To all of our valued clients and community partners,

First off, we hope that you are all staying safe! Below are some of the most important points that affect your individual treatment plans. Our goal is to combine infection control with being able to continue to offer you behavioral health and drug testing services.

We are at the office and available to take your calls at 954-797-5222 or via email at info@fifthstreetcounseling.org.

Here are some of the key points in our plan:

Drug Testing
Drug testing will continue at the Plantation location (441 & Broward); Monday & Tuesday 9a-6p, Wednesday 9a-8p, Thursday and Friday 9a-4:30p, and Saturday 10a-2p. The Pompano Beach and Miramar offices are closed until further notice. Click here to download the drug testing schedule.

Group Counseling
All groups will only be offered via Zoom on a HIPPA-compliant video streaming platform that is easy-to-use. Your therapist will be working from home and during the group you will be able to comment and ask questions.

Individual Counseling
All individual counseling will only be offered via Zoom on a HIPPA-compliant video streaming platform. Your therapist will be working from home.

Vivitrol 
We will offer Vivitrol injections on Tuesdays from 3pm-6pm. No changes.

Excused Policy
If a client reports that they do not want to participate in a group, or reports symptoms of the Covid-19 virus, their attendance will be considered to be “Excused”; no sanctions.

Appropriateness of this plan
Stakeholders will meet as-needed, throughout this pandemic, to assess the appropriateness of this plan and notify clients, staff and community partners of any changes.
